Typhoon is also horribly unstable when trying to notch, you can burn a lot of energy. Then the F-15 with the AESA Radar will reacquire you faster than the Mech Scan Typhoon will. It is no exaggeration when people say it is one of the worst Radars in the game.

The game, sadly, is nowhere near ready to implement any 5th‑gen aircraft without fucking it up.
We still don’t have next‑gen FOX‑3 missiles, next‑gen IR missiles, bigger maps (the current ones won’t cut it with newer FOX‑3s), proper ECM implementation, a more complex RCS simulation (we’ve seen some progress in terms of ammunition with the JSOW). and we’ll probably also need an overall rework of Air Realistic in terms of gameplay and objectives.
With all of this likely needed before any 5th‑gen aircraft appear, if I had to guess when we might see them, I’d say late 2027, maybe early 2028.
Or they could just rush it, either make them DOA or break top tier and call it a day, then slowly roll out fixes.

Moving the goalposts? The EFT and F-15C GE have the same missiles other than the 120D, even then they are extremely similar
I agree and we were not ready for what we have now, but the game must move forward and Gaijin will want the hype and opportunity to sell 150 dollar premiums.
I can see it devolving into an IR meta as Radar missiles become unrealiable.

The Mech scan Captor M is terrible bud, it is not an exaggeration.
The Radar on the Tornado F.3 or even Su-33 is easier to use I find I am constantly fighting with what should be the best Mech scan Radar in game.
the issue is that there is nothing at 14.3 that has a Mech radar, besides the EF

and you’re just incorrect, the f15e radar is much much worse for .3 br less. the ef2000 is fine at 14.3
14.0 exists with mostly mech scans, they are worse than the captor
