F-15C GE does not belong at 14.7, it’s worse by large margins than the majority of the 14.7s.

Offensive kit is the most important aspect of a top tier plane, provided the rest of the vehicle isn’t abhorrent dogshite (like F-18C Late)

You have to take into account how severely those downsides affect said aircraft
Flight performance for example, isn’t hugely necessary provided your aircraft can get to the battle quick enough and turn and notch most missiles
Same for defensive kit, as long as it isn’t atrocious (J-15T or Su-33) it’s not a huge deal. Look at Su-30SM2 which is quick, but not exceptionally so, 98x countermeasures which isn’t amazing but doable, FM overall is good but not insanely impressive
Where it really shines is the offensive kit, that’s why it’s so strong
The radar having said gimbal limit only multiplies that aspect

its funny how little you talk about wide angle radar on Su-30SM2 and EFT that completely negates any GNSS advantage since they can just guide an AMRAAM onto you while sitting in a notch.
Rafale doesnt have this but its flight performance is so extreme it can go into and out of notch extremely quick and easily regain the little speed it loses. it also has the best close range fox 3 ingame by a long shot

That EFT advantage is limited to two vehicles.
I don’t mention Su-30SM2 much since:
- It’s undeniably the best top tier (rafale is similar, it has next to no flaws and is undeniably better so why mention it)
- Not a a vehicle I was focusing on, I was focusing on EF vs F-15
I can also dispute the DL advantage by saying that you can just notch the radar once and datalink is gone

even the worse radar AESA EFT can stay in a near notch, where shooting at them will massively increase how long it takes and reduce your effective range significantly, while they can make a slight turn to negate your missile with a very short break in mid course guidance

AIM-120D is capable of being fired in TRK mem
A, B and C do not have this ability
Then it can just frequently hop in and out of the notch to keep datalink
Since from much personal experience it seems radars have a form of TRK MEM even in tws somehow as I have managed to maintain datakink even on targets that temporarily left my radar’s gimbal limits
expending lots of energy and increasing the risk of being hit a lot.
it isnt even close to what AESA EFT can do with wide angle radar
