Not quite
From what i can tell on the dev they just removed the ability to mix Aim-120s on the MRML and Aim-9M
If you bring a purely Aim-120 loadout you still get all missiles and BOL pods
Although i will say im not sure if 4 extra Aim-120 are worth ditching the 9M with how many times its came in clutch compared to dealing with Aim-120s and their issues…
the US finally gets a jet that is actually competitive for its BR and its the end of the world. i promise it is not as bad as prime F-15E or C. or even prime F-14, do you still lose sleep over that?
lol hardcore bong delusions, yeah bro let’s just ignore ef2000 has the best radar in the whole entire game, let’s ignore the 360 maw and rwr, let’s even ignore it having the flat out best flight model
The f15ge gets a whole 4 extra aam so it’s much better
let’s ignore the fact the only difference between the aam is gnss which has dubious benefits
The Fox-3s we have are used by gen 5s.
Gen 5s reduce engagement ranges due to stealth, which is always refined [and currently better than DCS’s as an example].
Next gen IR are in development & coming with gen 5.
Gen 5s are pretty much pure PVP aircraft, which is exactly what air RB works with best.
There is extremely little power creep with gen 5s compared to the aircraft added in the last year.
F-22 could use Aim-120Cs and up (not even C5s, but the Bs with clipped wings to fit in the internal bays)
F-35s can and do use Aim-120Ds. (not the D3s). Britain for example has Aim-120Ds for its F-35Bs whilst he Americans drag their feet intergrating Meteor
