So during one of the nuclear thunder limited time events, I found that when zooming in and out of the tactical map using the scroll wheel (the one you have when you hold M), led to me doing the same act of clicking it and spamming “attention to the designated grid square”. I am unsure if this is a hardware problem (using the scroll wheel in every single other instance I have used it to navigate my computer has not produced the same outcome, just on the map specifically. I want to know what I may have done wrong and what I can do to fix it. I have attached my controls

it turns out is a linux wide bug and lots of people are experiencing it but it hasn’t been fixed in a few months. I didn’t want to submit a bug report because I thought it was just a me problem but clearly not. I have tried to find the biggest report of it and press the “I have the same issue”

Well at least you know it isn’t on your end now :)
Clicking that button is the best option as that brings more attention to the bug and makes it more of a priority to be handled and fixed if many are experiencing the same issue.
it has been “accepted” as well but no clue how long that means until it is fixed
No one (except for the devs) really knows how long things like that take, they likely have their own internal priority list for bugs depending on how many player are effected and how much the bug effects the game for players. But i don’t have any insight into that sadly so can’t answer any questions other than with personal guesses. I think you can contact the Technical Moderators and ask if there are any updates for a bug report, or alternatively ask one of the Community Managers in the rumor and roundup thread or the most recent update post here on the forum.
