When you have an enemy on your 6 and there is a friendly approaching to help you, dont make it as difficult to help you as possible.
The amount of times I approach to help the friendly just for them to make it 100000x more difficult by pulling crazy manoeuvres is staggering, more often than not they give you a perfect setup then as soon as you are about to fire they pull some janky manoeuvre or split s and ruin it and they die.
Pulling a split -s when I am approaching the enemy 6 doesn’t help anyone other than the enemy,
I have honestly had friendlies baiting an enemy for me on his 6 for like 8km and let me get close and catch up but once I get close they pull a 180 or something it’s crazy and VERY common.
Crazy to see people work so hard to ruin it.
What I find is that if I’m diving on a friendly in trouble, I have a perfect lineup, have speed, so the friendly rolls under my nose, so does the enemy and I can’t pull for a shot without hitting the ground. It’s so annoying because then they die
Better way to explain this: Do not head-on your ally.
Go perpendicular to your ally so you show your ally the side of the enemy.
Going head-on will only force your ally to disengage potentially causing your own death.
Applies to ground mode, too. You’re in an SPAA, yet your teammate in a jet tries dogfighting like Tom Cruise in an area where you can’t even help him. Whereas he could have just lured him over the battlefield.
No, you just want to steal my kill! You can’t have more kills than me, I am Manfred von Richthofen incarnate. I am like a weasel, watch me, while I mesmerize the enemy with my masterful moves and kill him myself.
Same thing applies for spamming flares when someone is on your tail no matter what. Friendly flares have prevented me from missile-ing enemies numerous times, and I wish it never happened again.
