No bro that wasn’t what he meant, he was saying NATO tanks easily achieve better KD than ru vehicles when played properly bro which I also agreed with him, like 2A7 is a much better vehicle than the bvm for sure, like you are currently a bad boi with bvm having 3kd, you will easily achieve 4kd when you play Leopard 2.
Russian top tier win by CAS, not their tanks. If there is no CAS then their vehicles at best are number 3 or 4th, outside of cqc braindead city maps they go down even lower lol the whole logic doesn’t make any sense, Russian tank #3 CAS #1 = Russian bias, favoritism bro, but NATO tanks #1 CAS #3, no NATO bias? Also every nations has their own shitty br where they sucks to play
Its different when it affects everyone more or less equally which the restriction of equipment does. In fact sometimes restricting ammo prevents a vehicle from climbing a BR making it comparably stronger than with better ammo.
Because Gaijin is dumb?
I dont know, youd have to ask someone more knowledgable on HESH in general, i just know that its usually hot dogshit but the calibre of the T58 makes it a unique situation in that regard
DM33 can go through armor at 10.7 much better than DM23, so Ariete being blessed with it is still preferential treatment.
So Gaijin had to resort to unfair methods to keep Ariete competitive with other tanks at it’s BR. That fits your definition of bias.
Western equipment = don’t worry lil bro, it’s just Gaijin playing dumb
Eastern equipment = HA! This confirms it.
This is the problem I was talking about. Many people will just handwave things like that if it doesn’t affect the country they’re inherently biased against, which is why IRL biases play a very crucial role in all of this bias crying.
Things will often fly under the radar either because people don’t want to see them or they’re not that experienced in the game to notice it and just join the usual band wagon.
Doesn’t take a genius to see that HESH hitting the corner of your track would not instagib the vehicle it had hit.
You don’t answer a question with another question.
If Sweden received German darts then they should’ve received German HEAT as well.
You mentioning Challengers has nothing to do with other 8 trees being stuck with HEAT.
Like i said bias is not something that only happens to one nation, the difference is just that stuff like the ammo on the ariete or the stock APFSDS happens to multiple tech trees at multiple parts, stuff like the LMUR and KH38MT simply does not. Its not the general existence of preferential treatment that makes the bias, its the quantity and consistency.
Well the T58s HESH does have almost 17kg of TNT which almost 8kg more than the PzHs HE which can do similarly stupid things like any high calibre HE shell in the game
I agree here that that 100% tracks for the specific mains of a tech tree like US mains defending the T58, Germany mains claiming the 2A7 is not the best tank in the game or France mains saying the Rafale was totally fine past year but somehow only one of the 10 trees gets consistent bias complaints. Chalking that up to just “everyone else is bad or unknowledgable” is just cheap. And like i said, seeing that stuff like the LMUR is an entirely unique type of double standard doesnt take a 99 percentile skill level.
It’s still preferential treatment, you like it or not. It’s only bias if it benefits the nation I dislike.
So, Sweden received 122s all the way back in 2020 (and they’re still one of the best tanks in the game) while others were stuck with really subpar options.
To top it off, they didn’t receive stock HEAT and had darts in place of it.
They also received fictional vehicles to fill their “gaps” as it’s unimaginable they’d have something like that.
Seems like a lot of preferential treatment for a single minor nation.
Doesn’t change the fact it’s overperforming.
I’m seriously amazed you don’t see a recurring thing in here.
If T58 or Rafale were under USSR this forum would be literally on fire, which just strengthens my next claim.
I already explained you why.
It’s being bad, inexperienced or with IRL biases.
What’s your issue with that ?
It has lofting profile while others don’t ?
The Strf 9040s are capable platforms sure they are missing their tracking system since its not a feature in war thunder but i do well in them, The Composite armour package And spall liners allow you to shrug off some hits and autocannon fire- They are fast and if we get diffirential steering into the game to all tanks i bet they would become more capable on the move
Leopard IIs are also great and some of the best tanks in their ranks, Yes the turret basket can be annoying- But its still a very capable platform if used with the survival onion
Now i will talk about My fav Swedish SPH
I enjoy using the Sav m/43 (105mm) With heat to lob heat over hills and longer distances its frontal armour shruggs of auto-cannon fire and resistant to Russian 14.5mm and 12.7mm, I can semi-comfortably bring it to 5.0~ And just sit and lob stuff at people and watch as they try to shoot at my location while i slowly pick apart their tanks from a distance 240mm Of pen can lol pen most things-
Other honorable mentions are the Ikv 91 and The TT CV 90-105
And i cant forget about the Legendary Finnish L-62 ANTI-II
(That should get renamed to the finnish designation since its operator nation is finland so: “ITPSV 40”ilmatorjuntapanssarivaunu 40 L-62 ANTI-II)
Not at all what i said but at this point youre reading what you wanna read and not whats written anyway so why bother.
How does any of that not fit with what i said exactly?
Its peforming just like any plain old HE shell in the game
Or maybe just maybe its the difference in frequency with additions like these for the USSR tree compared to France and the US? And again neither being bad, inexperienced or having IRL biases changes objective, unique double standards.
Yes and it got them day one with minimal sources compared to AGMs with year old reports with every bit of proof you could wish for.
So the same people on this forum are doing regarding bias and double standard ?
So, Swedish bias is actually real.
Still overperforming.
I know it’s hard to admit western-only weapon system is overperforming.
Frequency doesn’t really matter, if something is OP then it’s OP and should force people to complain.
But it effectively makes you blind to double standards happening elsewhere as you aren’t scrutinizing those at all. As a result, you end up believing things only happen to a certain nation and that the grass is always greener there. Part and parcel of this forum, the perfect trifecta.
Double standard but definitely comparable to German UHT receiving FnF missiles years before anyone else.
Cough- (Meanwhile Swedish 40 Lvakan 48 (L/70) that are TT vehicles(Lvkv 42, VEAK 40) have A-historical belts That there is no documentation they used, And its been “Suggested to the devs” For 2 years, Not to mention getting backed and fighted for by lots of players at this point) Cough cough- Hmm, it seems like i also caught the cough-
Yes because only western weapon systems use high calibre HE shells…
And it does but of course frequency matters. People will see things differently when on tech tree that never gets preferential treatment gets a boon or if one that consistently gets it gets another.
Not necessarily, russian players can as much call out the double standards for others as can not russian players they just have less material and they know it which is why the same 5 counterexamples get repeated over and over.
How is that in any way comparable? One got added before anyone had FnF capabilities (and before LMURs or JAGMs were a thing irl i might add) in a still gimped state 6 years later and the other got added alongside FnF missiles but its the only one rocking the correct code that would be a one afternoon fix for the dev team.
Forgot to cough cough about mixed belts that gaijin keeps giving to autocannons despite that not being a thing just to extend stock grind (ap, he, ap, he on bmp, sabot, he, sabot, he on bradley) or just to nerf them (sabots and 1 he which effectively decreases rof on bmp series). Bushmaster even has two belt system to quick swap from sabot to he. Bmpt uses 2 belts on 2 cannons so 1 fires sabots and other fires he. But gaijin keeps this belt mix bs
Upd. I just imagine guy sitting and loading belts:“sabot, sabot, sabot… wait. how many sabots is bmp2 supposed to have before he? 3 or 4? To load 3 sabots or load 4” looks at sabot in his hand “that is the question”
