cuz the balance so gaijin didn’t give german leo D type Armor ?
i hope they gave Leopard 2A6EX it have same armor like Strv122
at least german top tier we have can have second MBT that can actually tank APFSDS on the upper hall
(sorry for my bad english)

i guess they treat German like shit ;-;
unlike Russia I can play T-90M and T-80BVM
both of them are powerful

and Sweden 3 strv-122 HAVE liners and tech D armor
and German only 2A7 have and they still nerf its armor
what a tragically D:

sweden don’t have d tech on its armor, it still c with addon

leopard 2a7v(and pso) have d tech irl as its base armor, so 2a7v should have better armor than 122’s

No. Penetration of A3 is very similar to A2 because lower speed of projectile. The difference in ability to “ignore” heavy ERA like Контакт-5. So for Leopard no difference which ammo Abrams will have. But for T-72B3, T-80U/UM/UK/UE that ammo will be very dangerous.

Anti-era tip aint modelled ig so nothing will change unless they model it. And even then DM53 and even M829A2 already have these.

cuz i remember that M829A3 can pen 700mm+
Strv’s upper hull have 750 protection
leo 2A7 have 670?

Snail will calculate penetration by using Lanz-Odermatt formula. In that case A3 will penetrate almost like A2. Maybe slightly better. Maybe.

That’s why they will never add the A3, because it would make their tanks hull that’s been unpenetrable by any shell would finally be easily killed muh “it would’t change the winrates” while people still using t80uk t80U in top tier when they got no backup to BVM or T90M.
