No, that’s nonsense. Now is now. No need to compare it to today’s standards. Then everything will be new, they need to retain the players. There will be a scout and there will be reconnaissance missions.
What does this have to do with it, the gaijin will come up with something to photograph. They’ll take historical maps on the border with the USSR, and it’ll start)
There are no reconnaissance missions though right now. And we’ve had aircraft capable of it for years now like the Seafire FR47 (fighter reconnaissance) and in 2015 (probably ever earlier aircraft meant for reconnaissance than that as well)
I doubt there ever will be need for those aircraft though because they would be beyond useless in air modes. (We don’t even have proper gameplay for bombers or strike aircraft yet)
As for the interceptor variant. What BR would you place an aircraft capable of Mach 3, can’t turn and armed with a few Aim-47s?
I’m not drunk, I don’t drink. Today’s standards are nothing! You shouldn’t judge like that! He won’t be useless. He will be the most interesting in the game. And they will make a CMOUFLAGE of the Decepticons from the movie Transformers on him.
the game is made for stupid pvp. to suck money, as players say in the chat. gaijin does everything so that players play as much as possible and spend their money here. does that mean there is no need for interesting, exciting modes, missions? snails are satisfied with stupid, simple, boring pvp modes, battles? won’t they make more exciting modes, like in DCS WORLD for example.
You reason intelligently and well. Judging by your avatar, you are a sailor in the game? I am currently sailing in the arcade, can I ask a question. I have banned the chat in the game due to provocations by a couple of players. And it takes a long time to search on the Internet (
I shoot at the marker to preempt, and aim a little to the left, a little to the right. I usually aim at the main cabin. How to hit the guns of ship ?or how to sink it faster. I don’t even know where the ammunition is? I’ve been sailing since the new year, almost 2 weeks. Where are you aiming ? There are few informative guides on YouTube. There are no precise answers to my questions.
As a general rule of thumb (at least for Bluewater) is to aim below the turrets, normally the front ones. Youll get the feel of how much to lead with practice but generally, the marker gives you the centre point of the ship so lead by the same distance between the centre point and the turrets (or wherever you want to hit)
Aiming below the turrets (so the rounds hit near the waterline) causes the maximum damage usually, either by causing flooding or by hitting the ammo racks. Unfortunately there is no good list or guide where to aim and different ships can be better to aim below the rear turrets instead of the front like the USS Moffet (and a fair few US destroyers) or the Prinz Eugen.
you know how long we have the bomber issue and they only tried one thing for high tier bombing for how many years?
They won’t add new maps, especially big enough ones for the SR71 (and its derivatives) to work on (like with the size of the whole of Europe).
It would be great with new gamemodes etc, but Gaijin wants fast pased games, not tacticle missions over an hour or two.
Even the classic fleet defence the F14 etc were designed for, we will probably never have, even though it is a very simple concept, you could simplifly even further. Also we had a similar thing with WW2 bombing defence ages ago and Gaijin never said anything about a continuation of this or alike.
If we don’t force such a big change, then War Thunder will stay a TDM, with no strategy, just smaller tactics, where bombers and attakers somehow exist
