yea . But of course you understand that the developers will create new maps for new modes - bombing for example. Because there are many modern bombers like B-2, B-1b, Tu-166, Tu-22M3, and they will be in the game. And they will most likely create modes and maps for them. Also reconnaissance Mig 25 RBT, SR-71 Black Bird and probably U-2 Dragon Lady) I’m tired of stupid PVP and helicopter PVE. It’s time to create other modes, reconnaissance, target designation, pinpoint strike, airfield attack, etc. This game has a lot of possibilities, prospects and I’m waiting for it))))

Would be cool but unviable on how tiny WT maps are. I imagine the main reason why Vulcan isn’t in game yet was due to that too

YF-12 would be impossible to balance. Speed would require to be near max BR but loadout would require it to be lower than the F-104. (Thats if it did actually ever have a missile mounted to begin with)

Recon aircraft have no place in war thunder at this time.

The most I can see of a SR-71 being added to the game is as a AI target for gamemodes like Air Sim

If Gaijin introduce proper World War mode with high tiers vehicles SR71 can become pretty valuable.

Imagine spying on enemy team in a huge map and constantly delivering adjustments for your units, would be pretty nice.

Dont forget, making Foxbat’s and Soviet Missile platforms crazy will be bonus ))

There are no reconnaissance missions though right now. And we’ve had aircraft capable of it for years now like the Seafire FR47 (fighter reconnaissance) and in 2015 (probably ever earlier aircraft meant for reconnaissance than that as well)

I doubt there ever will be need for those aircraft though because they would be beyond useless in air modes. (We don’t even have proper gameplay for bombers or strike aircraft yet)

As for the interceptor variant. What BR would you place an aircraft capable of Mach 3, can’t turn and armed with a few Aim-47s?
