In this plane 6.5G seems a reasonable basis.
For 9.75G maximum, although the real break point is 11.5G
lol No where close. That’s like putting F-104A to 11.3.
11.5G at low speeds, not high speeds.
Not to mention the fact it could destroy its engines by just going into its afterburner.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the damn thing but it’s gonna be a challenge.
Mig 19 is ingame and that had one of the most engine problems in a engine mig 25 only chewed its engines at mach 3.0 and above
Your lack of understanding how jet engines work, and WT’s insistence on not killing players for min IAS’ing early jet engines, is a fatal combination.
The Mig-25 didn’t use a conventional Turbojet Engine like most planes.
It used a Turbojet specifically from a cruise missile. It had dozens of problems because of this.
Where would you even put it? It has no countermeasures and it’s too fast to go anywhere lower than 11.0. It has poor missile capacity on top of that.
It depended on how hard you used the throttle too. It could also have issues if you get too reckless with its acceleration. This probably won’t be shown in WarThunder though.
I’m afraid your condition is terminal.
Not only do engines have a min IAS per altitude, past a certain speed you have to deaccelerate in low afterburner not to destroy the engines.
Because at that point military power creates so much drag it destroys the turbine. Same problem at all over ~10 km.
MiG-25 just happens to be good at getting there.
The fact F-4 Phantom and other US fighters are only really sub mach2 aircraft is kind of an obstacle for having this problem.
By the end of MiG-25’s life engines lasted 1000 hrs.
