There are no specifications on the reverse speed improvement T-90M2 will bring, but first we need to know what it even looks like before gaijin can add it, let alone know any specifications of it.
If you’re going to bring this up, then as the javelin moves higher in the flight path, it should be able to see the top part of the hull and turret better as it’s been in contact from the sun more.
You’re basing all of this from war footage? Do your research on what thermal blankets actually do and how missiles like javelin works. Just because you saw a missile miss a tank with thermal blankets doesn’t mean they break locks…
T-90M w/ Arena-M and T-90M2 are not the same.
And that’s not additional ERA, it’s simply moved to fit sensors for Arena.
I don’t get your points. Barracuda f.e. disperses radar for sure. The surface are special, irregular 3D printed structures to do exacty that, supplemented by multilayered radar absorbent materials below.
Also your point regarding thermal profile. When it blends into the backgound, you can’t lock it that well.
Dude, we’re talking about thermal blankets breaking the lock while the missile is flying. Not before.
This is active radar protection which yes can help break a lock while in the air. But me and this guy are talking about the thermal blanket particularly. And my previous post did not touch on Barracuda specefically.
The thermal blanket is almost completely unaffected by sun heat so I don’t know what are you on about like do you genuinely believe in your head that people didn’t think about that when they were designing thermal reducing equipment for the armored vehicles
At least lets wait until it exist
And you asked the people that designed these thermal blankets? Enlighten me. This is just basic physics you learn in middle school. Or just go outside and touch stuff under the sun.
Literally by the Russians it’s called T90m2 you can literally hear them in the documentary on ZVEZDA calling this t90M2
You know what there is no point in talking no matter what I say you will think that you are right so let’s just leave it to that
Aright Mr. I won’t learn what thermal blankets do and how javelin missiles work and only watch war footage of people dying to confirm my opinions.
ZVEZDA
Because that’s very clearly the most top notch and official source known to man.
It’s not T-90M2 because we haven’t seen what T-90M2 looks like yet, since there’s only supposed to be ~10 prototypes for state trials this year.
So a TV show that mainly revolves around Russian military equipment and talks to the designers and everything related to it with funding from the government just made up that that is t90m2. ok
I don’t really see why they would do that but whatever you say bro
yeah and they are supposed to get new turrets so its def not a M2, it is just a T-90M with the new arena layout from early 2025.
Thank god someone else posted it (I’m too lazy to)
What I’m curious about is when we’ll see Ryvok and Ryvok-2.
I mean the SM2 was never fitted with Irbis…
so since gaiijn is just adding fake stuff atp, why not give a T-90 a decent reverse gear.
Does this M2 get the extra ERA blocks that the M current gets in game?
Well if it was only Russia with “less proveble” things… but lets not get off topic and turn this in to another “muCh ruSsian biAs” topic. Can we be civil for once?
True, but lest not continue tha trend…
I’ve seen the effect of thermal blankets on a foot soldiers, but does it have the same effecnt on a vechicle with a “hot” engine… I mean continues effect, not just for couple of minutes/hours?
