With more and more top attack weapons being added into the game, Spike ATGMs on IFVs and helicopters for example. When could we see “Cope Cages” with ERA be added into the game for more protection against such weapons. It could be added as an amour upgrade modification.

Of course they do. Even if it is just Kontakt 1, there is adequate protection against TOW-2B detonating above (in-game, but also to a degree in real life despite the projectiles being EFPs). Versions with surrounding nets/cages protect against HE or other chemical effect shells to the roof (although Russian tanks are hard to overpressure anyway).
Ive always wondered why dont they put era on the lfp. Do modern tanks just aim dead center via fcs or something?
Cope cages would kinda suck in game because it make it extremely hard to hide behind a hill without being noticed.
They are starting to put ERA there.
But they have the dozer blade there so if you put ERA there you cant use to dozer blade. Also the ERA would be very likely to be knocked off when driving off road ect.
Wish the LFP had a composite armor as well, but I guess it’s pointless in real life
Honestly, the cage might be able to protect from brimstones, or atgms that come from above overall
