When are we going to balance the SPAAs?

Spawn Points for CAS have to go up significantly - rushing a capture point in a fast boi and scouting an enemy should not give you enough points to start throwing AGMs from 15km away

Helicopter Spawn points also need to go up - Helicopter rush into the enemy spawn to kill or hit as many enemies as possible should not be encouraged

Improve SPAA capabilites - this might not be realistic in the “classic” way but would need to be done for the sake of balance and that means that missile SPAAs with IR missiles need to increase their lock on and effective combat range to at least 4km while missile SPAAs with SACLOS missiles need their old, unrealistic control mode back and the Top Tier SPAAs need at least(!) 15km effective missile combat range.

Airfield spawn - remove the air spawn for all planes in Ground RB and make them spawn on the airfield

Air Superiority - there should be a sort of air superiority benefit. What i mean by that is that a Fighter gets an air superiority weapon choice of IR and Fox 3 missiles and a Air Target belt that does no damage to ground targets. This layout could be at a significantly lower spawn point cost to encourage people to keep the sky free of enemy CAS

And if I could I would take the excessive AP belts from the SPAAs and give them 40 AP rounds per gun as means of self defense and be done with the discussion of people spawning a SPAA to abuse it as a TD.

+Make it possible to gain ground RP with CAP when shooting other planes.

Why would I fly my spitfires and bf109s when ground research is already pitifully slow with even 10 kill games barely breaking 5k RP for 20 minute games? Most games give 2K RP for like 10-15 minutes, if you’re in a plane you’re not even getting that.

I don’t want air RP for CAP. ARB gives easily twice and thrice what ground can give.

Flying CAP punishes me for wanting to unlock new tanks.

Also, equalize the points you get from killing a plane with killing ground units. At the moment you’re not getting the same amount of points and that makes playing SPAA unattractive to begin with.

That my basic , so expand on it if you will. And about unrealistically buffing SPAA. I dont think that gonna happen so i would rather add more to the game. Especially the minor nation

When TEC actually made a good analysis without any bias I would agree and make my time watching it worth.

The more the better :)

Unless we get SPAA systems that somehow implement separate systems like Radar, Command & Control and Launcher we won’t have the capabilities to effectively counter the current level of CAS in the game.
Hence why I would be perfectly fine to “boost” the current systems at the expense of realism.

If the same rewards of destroying an air target (except attack and recon drones) using a ground-to-air weapon was the same as using air-to-air weapon. The game would be totally different in the ground scenario.

It may sounds crazy but at long therm, making the ground economy equally to air economy maybe in few specific aspects like playing with anti air vehicles and actually shooting down targets, would be good for everyone, specially ground main players.

I’m not one of his admirers either and I don’t agree with him stating that the analysis he shows is not representative of Top Tier or 10.7+ BR battles. I think this is exactly what 10.7+ BR looks these days almost every battle.

So his analysis is actually quite good and mostly to the point, hence why I think its worth watching.

yeah, I don’t really remember having problems with SPAA gameplay until they nerfed the radar missiles. But the IR guided AA missiles still cannot kill helis that are just camping the heliport, making these helis practically impossible to kill.
