BTR-70 with the 85 looks really good tbh-

I like the Zhalo out of all of these.
The AMX and Centauro should be exclusive to their trees and I find everything else to be “hastily assembled junk”.

Here is a image of all the Italian wheeled vehicles the Russians trialed near Moscow

I defently think the one of the right should be added aswell, because it has spike atgms. Or they could add the Czech Pandur II or their new CV9050 with 50mm canon and spike atgm.

I’d agree but who knows what the future of Czechoslovakia will be, not officially a sub tree.

we already have a few Czechoslovakia, Czech and Slovakia vehicles in the USSR tree, so I would assume it will become a sub-tree for USSR. Especially now that a Ukraine sub-tree is off the table.

Why in the holy hell would the Ru get either if these ?
No russian material, no russian usage.

right now the USSR wouldn’t get them. But if a Czechoslovakia sub-tree was added then they would get them.
The fact we have a number of Czechoslovakia vehicles in the tech-tree means that is the most likely sub-tree for the USSR.

Well, those vehicles were all made when there was a Czechoslovakia.

If we’re going forward then maybe, and just maybe the Ru “Czechoslovak” tree can continue as a Slovak tree, but definitely not a Czech tree.

I would look at Iranian options and entirely wouldn’t exclude Ukraine or any ex Soviet republic for that matter

Will never happen for the foreseeable future, too many people to piss off or make happy with that decision.

T-72M2 Moderna is Slovak vehicle

According to what I’ve seen on ru forum in the past, they’re waiting for the conflict to end. But who knows if that means immediately after, probably not.

I assume the point of including in the RU/USSR tree was just that it was the only place it fit at the time. Similar to how Germany still has a bunch of Italian planes (for those who got them before Italy got its own tech tree). Not saying that it might not still become a sub tree, but just pointing that’s probably why it sits in the tree that it does.

Plus, as soon as we’re talking any modern vehicles, things can start to get quite tricky in terms of where do you place the sub-trees. Now, they could simply rename some of the tech trees, to make them less country-specific, as I’m sure placing certain countries under the banner of certain other countries would piss plenty of people off. The list of these problematic combinations is long, but I’m sure you can think of quite a few.

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind seeing something like a Poland/Slovakia/Czechia(or Czech Republic, if you prefer) tech tree with both their old pre-USSR, USSR era and post-USSR era vehicles. I understand that it’d be a lot of copy-paste for certain time periods, but then so is so much stuff these days, with some special local versions put in the mix.

Also, a Nordics tree would make a ton of sense, merging Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. It’s sort of already happening, though only with Finland having a full sub-tree.
