Does anyone know what the deal is with this?

Yeah just dunno how soon, but both Italy and Hungary operate PzHs (Italy has the second largest amount of any country, after Germany) and the premium is explicitly a Hungarian one so an Italian TT is all but guaranteed for some point, likely sooner than later.

Italy is the only licenced producer outside germany. 68 of the 70 PzH-2000 of the Esercito Italiano were produced in Italy.
