Why does 400mm of NERA only have slightly better protection than 150mm of NERA? This doesn’t seem to make much sense, since the Mk4 is newer and Isreal would most likely not downgrade their armor.

Cause gaijin thinks the armor values have a lower protection value than rubber fabric screens. Believe me I look at it and always ask, how the hell does this make sense. The answer, is that It doesn’t. Israel armor is nerfed for the sake of other nations to use it as target practice (not to hard given how giant weak target it is)
Because if it’s not a russian MBT, don’t expect it to have a decent armor
to be real though. I really don’t understand either why the side composition is literally the same as the mk3. Makes zero sense. But gaijin thinks that it’s acceptable
this kind of selective realism and inconsistency is all over the place, usually kneecaps western style nations but weirdly saves russian stuff a lot. dunno whats going on there
heres one of the most odd ones i deal with:
CR2 TES ERA blocks
Where’s that extra 100mm of chemical protection gone?
