What's the point of the AGM-154 JSOW?

I just see a bunch of people who haven’t really used them in Nuclear Thunder. Listen, it’s a standoff weapon so that means standoff distances. Like 80-150km distance at about 13-17km release height. Use salvo release. It is the absolute best S300 destroyer. Of all the sorties I did with them I could count on one hand when they were intercepted and all were before stealth buff. It has the steepest terminal glide of any weapon and will hit around mach 1.3 on descent.

If you know where they are, each sortie is one entire S300 site gone and you can get the next volley in the air before the previous has even landed. Most effective SEAD by far with near zero risk of death. So effective that it actually was boring after a few matches

In GRB they are more at risk of interception so you minimize interception time by finding an approach vector that offers the most cover closest to the battlefield. Set your target points on the runway and take your approach as close to max release speed as possible. On the final hill or whatever right before the battlefield angle slightly up so when you salvo release they graze the top of the hill and you are still covered from SPAA. This ensures that when AA see them pop up they only have seconds to react.

Realistically though this strategy could work just as well with other glide bombs.
