Like genuinely how do you approach the one lifer situation? If you were to crew lock all slots instead of the just the ones you died in then people will just remove all other tanks from their lineup. What is the most viable way of even approaching one lifers. Its not a problem exclusive to just premium players. Tons of us have seen teammates with top tier MBTs.
Do you reduce rewards? What would be the most logical way to approach this?
If you have a lineup of less than 2 tanks within a 1 BR range and 3 tanks within a 2 BR range and you leave after one death the whole lineup gets locked.
Like for example playing the 8.7 Amx-30B2.
If you have just he amx-30 and you play a match you get half time crew lock. (We need some leeway for stupid premiums)
If you have the amx-30 and let’s say the amx-50 and you only spawn once your whole lineup gets locked.
But let’s say you add the m26 to that lineup. Normal crew lock rules apply.
Remove the m26 and add in let’s say the ELC-BIS. Now you are under the limit and the whole lineup gets locked upon 1 death leaving.
I usually bring all the Vehicles i can within 0.3 br.
My only exceptions are Spaa because Italy best Spaa Is a 10.3 and my spanish centauro in the 10.7 lineup
I think every game w/ a content creator ends up being they leave after one death, and most of the time they’re actively streaming- pushing the idea that it’s fine even more.
I can 110% recommend using the Type 89 in your Japan lineup. Better penetration and damage than ICV/RCV, better chasis + mobility and 4x Anti-tank missiles. The only real downside is Gen 1 or Gen 2 thermals.
I absolutely hate MBT spam. Boggles my mind that someone is willing to spawn the same damn type of vehicle 3-4 times over. So I’ll always have room to uptier actual fun support vehicles that work at top-tier (i.e, AFT09). Basically, I will always bring a lineup, but I’m not prioritising how many MBTs I can squeeze into it.
not the guy you asked but i also have as many crews as i can. for me its not the case of getting killed often, its about having a choice. some vehicles just perform better on different maps. then theres also fact that if i mess up i want to have a similiarly performing vehicle to fall back onto without need to use backup.
People like this ruin the game. What’s the point of playing if you want to be a one death loser? God this mentality from some of you is terrible. You ruin the game. This game continues to get into a worse state because of players like you.
This is the really big thing about a big line-up. On some maps, some vehicles excel, on others, might as well just quit instead of trying to use them. Without being able to predict the map, you have to have a line-up that can adapt to any and all situations.
It is a GAME - it’s supposed to be fun. If somebody gets tilted over some BS then the game stops being fun. Nobody should be forced to continue playing to please people like you.
This. Some vehicles are situational. Get them in the right situation and they dominate. Having a good amount of crew allows you to have that situational vehicle there for whenever you require it.
Fun for all. By one death leaving you’re robbing your team of any fun - because it’s not fun to suddenly be facing a hoard of enemy vehicles because you have no team left. One death leavers are selfish people who simply need to uninstall the game and go find a non-team game to play.
Edit: I wouldn’t be calling the guy in the screenshot out over one game. He could have had something happen - a knock at the door, something spilt, whatever. But those who do it on a consistent basis? No good.
All players are selfish due to gaijin game design.
Less grind - less selfishness.
You are welcome to uninstall the game and leave the community - you are not in the position to tell who can or can’t play the game, nor how people should play the game. Especially that ODL is not against any rules and gaijin encourages it.
To sum it up: Don’t blame the players - Blame the game.
I am grinding france and sweden rn. I wish I had these lineups. I swear to god am just playing to grind. Only fun I have is somua sm and t72. Cant wait to get the strv121
I do. And, very often, spawning over and over and over again has made the difference between a defeat and a close victory.
And even if the match turns out to be a defeat, I want to rest assured knowing that I did my best from start to finish. Even if it’s a clear defeat, I just keep spawning till I run out of SP. Additionally, that’s just better for RP and SL as well.
