Whats the next USA Spaa? (After claws but before patriot)

Basically wondering what you all think the next spaa will be for the usa. I’m pretty sure patriot won’t be the next one to get added as that’d make s400 and such viable as well at like 14-15.0.

They can probably get a NASAMS 2 or 3. Being a co-development with Norway

doesnt the slamraam and nasam both use amraams? how much of a difference would it make

There is AMRAAM-ER which is a pretty substantial improvment

is that limited to the nasam though or would the slamraam also be able to use it?

I don’t think SLAMRAAM could use it since it’s noticably larger

The newer version of AMRAAM-ER, test fired 2024

ic, i figured if the slamraam could use it then it wouldnt make sense to add the nasam, even if gaijin loves to add vehicles with miniscule improvements for an extra 400k rp to grind

The Hawk System could work tho i have no idea what vehicles could use it

Let them have NASAM HML lol

It would be Patriot… 80km range is normal for these new SPAA systems.

No reason for it not to be the patriot there’s an active radar version with 80km range so it would fit right in with the Buk and Aster 30

Cas players should pray we dont get PAC-3, if we dont get patriot in november or december then its the proof of double standards

Proofs already there tbh they strait up said the patriot would be too strong then kinda did a 180 1 patch later with the buk and aster 30

Man i hope they dont add more.

I get it CAS sucks but at same time its ok in small amounts.

We have total no fly zones now, anything more is beating a dead horse. No im not a CAS main

cant overly comment on Buk. But Aster-30 has range only on paper. The reality is that the SAMP/T’s radar can barely lock onto an aircraft passed 30-40km (at least thats what IRL docs state it should be able to lock on at).

combine with the massive nerfs affecting all ARH-based SAMs and they probably wont be a huge threat if you are smart. The CLAW’s Aim-9Xs might remain more effective than SAMP/T, Sky Sabre and Buk if there are no major changes.

This is of course under the assumption that they wont add anything else to CAS…

As it stands CAS is massively artificially nerfed and its hard to justify those restrictions with the current set of SPAA. Add anything stronger… We could very well see CAS actually getting close to their full strength.

25m trigger radius begs to differ

It does feel like the Buk is the embodiment of that hypocrisy of adding the Patriot because it is “too OP”. It seems very likely the Aster will get a series of buffs and improvements post-patch and is only struggling now. But the question then becomes when do we see something competitive for everyone else.

I see no results when searching.
And Patriot was already part of a leak list which means it’s in development unless leakers suddenly drop below their current 100% vehicle accuracy.

@MokaMoki
Fan fiction is cringe.

I beleive the speculation was that the Patriot/S300 were AI targets as part of a wider roll-out of the SEAD gameplay tested in the event and no player vehicles

The “no Patriot” speculation is the speculation.
Players claiming Patriot is OP is not Gaijin themselves.
