What's the differences between the M series half tracks?

Hello guys.

As far as I know, there are M2, M3, M5, M9 half tracks.

Some of which are in the game, being equipped with different weaponry for specialized purposes.

From what I know…

M2 Half Track = M9 Half Track - Light trucks
M3 Half Track = M5 Half Track - Heavy Trucks

Other than being produced by different companies, are there any signlifcant differences among them? Like operational performance? Are there any fun facts/quirks about a specific truck model?

The difference between the two isn’t actually related to their armor or vehicle type, but rather they are different variants that have a similar appearance.
