I saw a 50% discount and wanted to buy a hell tank for the USA. I’m standing over the choice of Hellcat or Black cat. It seemed that we should take the Black Cat, since it is cheaper, but there is a caveat that the Hellcat has better ammunition for 185 millimeters of penetration, while the Black Cat has shells for 149 millimeters. Hellcat also has slightly better armor than Black Cat. Now I have a choice: either take a Black Cat cheaper, but with the worst penetration and farm, or a Hellcat with the best penetration and farm, but more expensive. Please help me!
Hellcat with the 90mm
They’re both identical unless you’re referring to the Super Hellcat, which has a bigger gun.

Super Hellcat has better penetration, but worse mobility due to increased weight. What is more important for your play style?
90mm still isn’t performing quite as good as it ought to be, plus the Super Hellcat is slower due to the increased weight of the gun and turret. However, when you do pen with the 90mm it is more damage so there’s that.
Ultimately it’s up to you which one you want to buy.

at its BR, the Black Cat is more effective. The Super Hellcat is good though.
I would like the speed to be at the same level and better penetrate the enemies, especially the Germans, when you hit 6.7

Super Hellcat is better but M18 black cat is faster
but honestly the difference is not that much compared to some other light tanks so I would just go with the one you want. Personally I’d say super hellcat since you can just get the regular m18 from the tree

The premium m18 has a worse engine than the tech tree one, this got changed a while ago
