What's the best starter aircraft for America?

Veterans of WarThunder, I need some help. I have a couple of aircraft of Rank III America Air unlocked and want my first jet. BUT there are a lot of options to choose from. So, I would like if you guys could give me some jets to grind as soon as possible, and which ones to avoid. Appreciate it, TimCanuck

join a squadron and get the a-4 early. then probably the f-84 to get to the f-86

f-80 is a good plane. that was my fist jet.

F2H2 is very nice.

Naval planes are pretty nice in general.
F3H-2 is kind of a bad fit for ARB, but pretty sweet in ASB.
F8U is kind of a monster in downtiers (9D vs flareless planes is cruel).

Bonus points in that at prop tiers until the P-51H, I feel navy planes are more versatile, making getting the jet easier.
