What's the best squadron vehicle,for me?

Okay i need some advice on what research plane i should research next. I’m almost at the end of researching the A-4E and frankly,i’m passing too much time thinking where to waste months of passive research into.

I have top tier for US and Italy ground and i mainly search for a jet or helicopter that is super viable/efficient for its BR lineup.

This means all the vehicles in trees that are not researched fully are not considered first priority.

The problem is that US squadron aircraft are the F-117,AH-56 and YAH-64,and not a single one of them speaks “efficiency” to me,but i might be wrong. Itsly doesn’t have a single squadron aircraft,so i either research the C13 TUA/Freccia OWS 30 o i don’t.

Another thing to keep in mind is that i have the CT-CV 105 spaded: i don’t have a lineup for it (barely reached Tier 3 on Sweden),but i could either research one of the two Swedish ground vehicles (either the T-80U or the BMP-2MD) and build a lineup from there

Or,i could research the Saab F-35 and make a 10.7 lineup with this+the Patria,but on a first look the F-35 doesn’t seem to be a fantastic plane in ground combined in general (but i also might be wrong here). The JAS-39D is another interesting option,but i don’t want to push the Patria into 12.0+ material

So as a tl;dr to help me decide:

  1. I’m looking at an efficient vehicle in its BR to form a mixed air/ground lineup
  2. I have US and Italy at top tier ground,and then Sweden with a singular 9.7 vehicle
  3. I either bite the bullet and research the AH-56 or YAH-64,or i risk it and research either the T-80U/BMP-2MD or the F-35/JAS-39D
  4. Of course i’m open to differing opinions that might change my mind

its personal preference to the point that there isnt a way to tell you which will be best for you. Will say to avoid the nighthawk and things as they are pretty poor.

the A-4E is very strong for its br as its the same BR as a A-4B but vastly better stock than the B is spaded.

Yeah the fact it’s personal preferences is bad for me because i literally can’t decide.

So i’ll leave the F-117,AH-56 and YAH-64 because they’re poor? If that’s the case then i think i’m going with the T-80U

Also yeah i literally can’t wait to use the A-4E,i craved that thing for so long no matter the mode

Could you specify the 9.7 Swedish vehicle at ground?

the T-80U is strong. most of the sqdn vehicles are decent.

also dont reccomend the sea harrier, harriers are worthless at their BRs

I’d go with Freccia because it’s lower BR than TT version now and fits lineups better. I’m researching it now.

YAH-64 is okay but SPAA is very strong and I use it only on maps where I know I can advance to the battlefield and hide from enemy spawn. Most AA never leaves spawn.

Also I have F35 and wanted to spam unguided rockets but I played only one battle lol, flying it’s my thing really. I can’t tell if it’s good or not, I just wanted a jet and people were saying this one is OK.

Honestly, for Sweden, I would go with the BMP-2MD because if you have a 9.7 ground vehicle it’s BR (8.7) is way closer than the T 80 U’s BR (11.3). Now, I understand that the T 80 U is better in terms of performance than the BMP-2MD but considering the BR difference, I would chose the BMP-2MD. I would use it when I am in downtiers.

Mmmh okay okay that might be a good idea,i also thought about the BMP-2MD due to the BR difference but my main gripe was using 30mm APDS at 10.0+ (which is extremely situational).

Yeah but i’m not too fond of the 30mm Bushmaster+Spike combo. I have the Vilkas and i have a form of fatigue of that combo lol

Oh don’t worry i didn’t even accounted that vehicle. Plus,i have the AV-8B(NA) so i know what it’s like to use a Harrier and being useless in ARB lmao

I mean now that I think of it, despite the BR difference, your lineup should be the T 80 U and the CT-CV 105HP: it’s 421 mm of penetration isn’t the best at a BR of 11.3, but if you aim for weakspots it shouldn’t cause any problems. You’re actually right the 30 mm APDS at 10.0+.

if the focus is exclusively for GRB, then any of the stated would be a sensible pick. But if you play some air too, then the choice doesnt matter that much.

Also bare in mind that most SQVs take 2-3 months to grind for free. So you mention about not having Sweden up to 10.7 to use alongside the F-35 yet, but you might in 3 months. So Id not worry about that too much.

Also is there any other ground trees you’ve been eyeing up? Because whilst its a mix bag, something like the Mossie bomber is a lot of fun in ARB and is a solid early CAS for the early British tree.

M901 is good for 8.3 and 8.3 has a pretty good lineup

M901 looks quirky but it is a really useful ATGM carrier
