What's the actual difference between the German Leopard 2A8 and the Norwegian Leopard 2A8NO?

Does the Norwegian version simply have an extra laser warning system?

The Swedish version features a machine gun and additional side composite armor. However, the German version has the exact same weight.

If these differences remain in the final release, the Norwegian Leopard 2A8NO is definitely the better choice.

The extra side armor could improve survivability in close combat, but we’ll have to see how effective it actually is in-game.

Someone else on the forums have pointed this out. The Norwegian one doesn’t have better side armour, the long boxes on on the side is only storage for snow grousers. Norway wanted a lighter tank than Germany. I also think the mine protection is not present on the 2A8NO.
