What's Happening to War Thunder?

For one month now, the game has been turning into an absolutely unpleasant, even disgusting, experience, all thanks to Gaijin. The matchmaking is completely insane and unbalanced, favoring Russian and then German nations, in that order. 80% of the time, one of the teams—usually mine—disintegrates within two to three minutes, giving the opponent a comfortable numerical advantage, and we start suffering and losing tanks one after another.

On top of that, something that looks like RNG in the calculation of impacts and damage often leaves you defenseless against an opponent (especially if that opponent comes from a region far away from the EUR server).

The presence of cheaters, who are no longer afraid to admit it in the chat, is becoming more and more noticeable every day. I’m starting to think that the ban list is “all for show.”

I spend a lot of time on a video-sharing and streaming site for this game and I’m seeing more and more people, both streamers and those in the chat, making the same observations.

What is Gaijin’s goal ? If this is all unintentional, it’s a sign of incompetence. If it is intentional, it’s profoundly dishonest.

Without changes, all of this will eventually have consequences.

This is not true, all nations strong at different brs, you wanna talk about ru and germany being favored, I mean look at USA 6.7 and 7.0

Sounds like a big fat skill issue that all of us have been dealing with.

Please, be like us, and don’t create unnecessary topics.

Ngl man, while I have my complaints, this doesn’t seem to be it.

Everyone complains about “bias” - but everyone has a different claim as to which nation is being biased for / against.

Yes, there’s RNG in the calculations - because no one can expect Gaijin to run a physics sim for every shot. While yes, I would agree that maybe it could still use some tuning, I certainly can’t say it’s bad overall.

I also can’t say I’ve ever seen this.

Not that I’m outright throwing out your claims, but I don’t see anything in them in particular that stands out as “ever-present”, “oppressive”, or “game-breaking.”
