Hi. I downloaded war thundet after uninstalling it several months ago - and I have this bug with textires
My plane is black, the texture is gone. Tanks are fine.

I had something similar happen to me with the a10 last night. I can post screenshots when I get home later today
My son played a game yesterday where the little jerry can decorators were black like that.

In the game folder is a cache folder, as well as a compiledShaders folder.
Clear the contents of both of these with the game closed, and see how it goes after.
Common fault, common first suggested solution.
Everything was working fine not even 10 minutes before this. Then I went into the test drive with it and when I returned to hangar, it looked like this. And it worked fine maybe 10 minutes later when I finished a match. It looks like it’s trying to render cockpit instruments and MFDs on it lol.
I think it is just a recent update did something wrong. I have had a lot of similiar texture bugs and wierd artifacts recently
I personally had to resort to just deleting the game and all associated files and then redownload
Well the funny thing is, this is the first time it ever happened to me. And it looked just fine 10 minutes before that before I took it out for a test drive. And then 10 minutes later when I completed a match, it looked normal again.
Same issue since update.

This is an ongoing graphic bug even for ground battles I often see these on rocks or sometimes on tank hull.
Sometimes part of the tank were completely black like texture failed to load.
Try “CTRL+SHIFT+WIN+B” while still in-game. If that doesn’t help then try deleting your “cashe” and “compiledShaders” folders and do a file verification to re-download them.
Doesn’t work for me. Any other suggestions? This issue makes the game unplayable.

It is probably a game since this is a known issue, but check your graphics driver, test your ram, bios version, etc. It might just be a hardware issue, maybe the game updated something that broke old software, or god forbid your card is just degrading
So…Obviously a GJ problem:
Why am I always being gas-lit here? Every update creates glitches - every time it happens it’s never acknowledged by GJ, sending myself and others frantically trying to fix an issue on our end that doesn’t exist. This company sucks balls man.
FIX YOUR GAME GJ!
From that post, it’s not the game then, it’s the video drivers.
