I was wondering what year Battle Rank 1 is supposed to be 1939?

Its not any specific year, mix of WW2 and interwar vehicles.

it’s post First World War, 1920s to the beginning of the Second World War by example for the olders in the ground forces :

  • A1E1 Independent designed 1924 and in service until 1935
  • FCM 2C designed 1921 and in service until 1940 (France capitulation,
    scrapped or scuttled)

etc.

It does go to post war too. Ikv72 was designed in the 1950s

Good point, but Sweden vehicules are exception, they’re based on the WW2 design and using Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) chassis for their vehicules (almost 1939 chassis)

None, it’s simply the “worst” vehicles in the game, which just happens to coincide with roughly the post-ww1 era.
