Yeah, but atleast the Su-17M4 is decent CAS.
with what
Kh-29T
Without targeting pod at 11.0 facing Tor and up to everything?
the 29T has its own sensor, not great but it works
i really like the Su 25 with the S13 because you have more, so you can fly low and prefire spaa
should be around 10.3 (F-4F with 2 AGM-65 is at 10.3 so 2Kh-29T should also be just 10.3 or max 10.7) but yes
should be 11.7
its a solid CAS aircraft if it was given its maximum capabilities
its actually better IRL but gaijin hasnt modelled it right. it could see a lot more and was more of a contrast seeker than a Black/White seeker
Not the SU-17M2, but the Su-22M3 instead
That’s still a monochrome seeker, but displayed through the more Sepia tone monitor than a black/white one.
I mean that the sheer fog effect wasn’t as prominent irl.
Also maybe resolution
The ingame resolution is whatever your screen resolution is. Its only the Picture-in-Picture render in the cockpit that uses a lower resolution render for performance reasons.
And its just a monochrome view of the game scene. If the atmosphere is foggy, the seeker view is foggy. If the atmosphere is clear, then the view is also clear.
All SU17/SU22 and SU25 are bad
The Su-17m2 got it down to 10.0, making it very playable. You can be equipped with 4x R-60 air-to-air missiles and carry 4 incendiary bombs. In this BR you still can dodge missiles without using any flares. But you can use those rockets as flares if you get uptier.
Honestly I find myself doing best with KHs but I will give those rockets a go then.
Was talking about seeker resolution.
Or soght resolution as some call it.
But done incorrectly.
If you can see it with a non TVD high zoom sight, you should be able to see it in a monochrome sight
And TV seeker resolution is just the game’s render resolution, there’s no difference currently.
You can. The only difference is its monochrome.
Theres none IRL
mb u were right abt this
this however is not equal to irl.
irl there is MUCH more contrast between dark and light colors

also btw
the seeker itself isnt monochrome. only the display inside the 22M4 is
It can only display in monochrome. Even the modern colour MFD’s on the SU-30 display it in monochrome.
Because its a contrast seeker, it has no use for colour information. Only the contrasting tones. Any colour information is likely thrown out before the final monochrome signal is sent to the aircraft.
