What would be a good US rank III premium aircraft?

Or I should have done ground…

Have you just got into it?

Ummm… yeah

Oh, well then of course you’re not going to do good at first. Just keep trying and you’ll do fine. You can add me, and we can play a few matches together if you’d like to, later today :)

Have in mind that my recommendation regarding gaining some experience upfront was not solely aimed to learn the mode and ACM in general - gaining crew XP regarding g-lock resistance etc are usually not considered by most veterans.

So it is rather easy to g-lock a rookie player with high-speed & high g-load maneuvers.

Therefore i see recommendations of XP-55s for rather new players with mixed feelings - as it shines just in 2 disciplines: 1) Headons and 2) High-speed maneuverability / turn. For using the last you need some crew XPs, otherwise you can’t use the full potential. As soon the XP-55 is low it is nothing more than a sitting duck as the plane is actually quite slow.

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned the american captured A6M2. Very easy to fly and amazingly still rank 3, unlike the japanese one.

It’s because it flies against decent pilots in Japanese A6M2’s

True, but it’s not like japan has a huge playerbase that you’re guaranteed to run into them every match.

Lol yeah

I would much rather use a kingcobra… I don’t like the P-39 because of how bricky it feels compared to the P-63, which is a lot more stable and easier to fly imo

I flew all of them years ago - in the old axis vs allies world on an inactive account - and was also a fan of the French P-63 C-5.

The recommendation for the 2.7 P-39 was (at outlined above) mainly aimed to support a rather new player; the BR is way lower and imho the P-39 is compared to the P-63 a very good turn fighter. Above the P-63 A-5 the plane is just average / correctly positioned whilst the P-39 is still way too low in it’s BR.
