Yes, I’ve played them on Yak-141 and F-14A IRIAF - it’s much better than Aim-7F/M. Perfectly capable at 12.7!
R-27Rs are usable, ofc they are much worse than the ER
But compared to the SARH at 12.7 with AIM-7P being the best competition you have its good
i played Yak-141 and imagine that, you’re “good” R-27R couldn’t hit a target in range of 4-5km
i played R-27Rs and all i learnt that i would rather use R-27T instead of missile that preforms worse than Sparrow M
