What’s the point of drop tanks?
Just getting to some of them now - I imagine they are useful in long duration EC games or Sim??
Obviously I know they carry extra fuel - but there seems no point in doing so in AB or RB.
Just as comment before me stated
Min (or low) internal fuel + drop tanks
Once you get to fight, jettison the tanks and you can fight with lighter load which in turn means better performance (turning and acceleration mostly)
