If you know how IFF works in plane and AAA then you will shoot safely most of the times but in Air the most dangerus situation is you are chaseing a foe who is chaseing a friendly and you want to release a side winder or some IR missile that with foe manuver you will kill friendly by that. So it is better have com with friendly and ask for jin cut before fire the missile.
When I press T in air sim my avionics change. Thats why I avoid using that key
You can rebind keys.
I’ve gone crazy enough that I rebound TAB form scoreboard into a modifier key.
TAB+W/S, TAB+RMB, TAB+G, TAB+F2, TAB+F4
T (as in T41, T42) got rebound as K.
aerobatics Smoke is F5, “Follow me!” is F6, “Cover me!” is F7, “Leading for landing” is F8.
You can bind these under the general tab. Every message can be quick-keyed.
I dont even know the name of that thing
go to controls chose the tap you always play in that mode and bind a key for some thing have no key set and hit the T it will show you have conflict and see what key is deffined for T so you can find it and unbind it
I had a heated discussion with someone else who refused to touch his T key for some reason… might have been the same guy, but i seem to recall he had several thousand games…
“set up a quick key, it takes 10 seconds, please!”
“I don’t know how to do that, so no”
Warthunder is not a team game :(
