sorry better question do you play both air and ground modes or primarily ground and want a full line up with air.

You can get “leclercs” by acing any abrams from 10.7+. And they will prob be better than leclercs themselves. Plus usa got some solid cas to use. Like m1 + a10 late or m1a1 + 11.7 harrier.
Speaking of choice. Depends on what you want. 3 best protected mbts with 6s reload or paper armor mbts but with 5s reload. Mamba or gelandwagen. 16 spice grippen or 6 hammers rafale. Id go for sweden tbh.

than honestly both are pretty goo if you primarily want a full ground line up and to enjoy air I would say Sweden as of this moment. has the new Gripen C which has great CAS and is an amazing 14.0 and has the best tank currently in the game with finally a good SPAA as of this update while Frances ground line up, is copy paste worse leopards and Leclerc’s being on the same level as challenger 2’s and Ariete’s it isn’t great however the Rafale is still the best if not second best 14.3 as of right now and has decent CAS.
the biggest issues for the two nations if you choose them, is the Gripen is knda at a standstill no upgrades until the meteor or Danish F-35 which you wont see for a few years. and similarly we havve what I believe is the current most modern Leclerc and a most modern rafale dressed up as an earlier version again with no knew things until the meteor.
Secondly the HELI line for Sweden ends completely at a 11.7 with no possible upgrades while France has two 3.0 FnF HELI’s.
Then at least for top tier the ground line up for both nations the Sweden is massively better 3 of the best Tank in game, what will be one of the best CAS in game when they return the 8 middle spice IR bombs.
Overall if you want 1 meta destroying vehicle only 4 air go France for the MICA do it quickly though it looks like competitors are finally being added. however IF as you say
GO Sweden, it simply fulfills your needs better overall good, best top tier tank, one of the best air jets that might be the second or possibly first best CAS jet only downside is the HELI’s but they arn’t worth grinding half the time unless they have FNF missiles anyways.

also want to respond to this, no the Leclerc’s are not worth it they are so bad the better bet is to run a full lineup of its leopard tanks in the subtree. to put simply the challenger, Ariete, and LECLERK are modeled poorly regarding armour and unlike Russian or USA counterparts didn’t fledge two full-scale counter insurgency type wars over like 30 years so sadly suck in GAIJIN’s poorly designed maps. causing them to be the second worst group of tank, next to the MERKEVA simply cause I don’t believe that was modeled to fight in anything but CQB which means it isn’t well protected from tanks and is poorly modeled.

Sweden, Strv 122’s are brawlers and everything is just fun in my opinion, especially the S-Tanks.
CAS isn’t anything notable either, it’s good, especially if used right, but not insanely broken, at least until you get the JAS39E or the MLU 2 Hornet.
Forgot to mention every jet they have is very nice in the hands for playing Sim with a HOTAS, I especially love the Viggen family.

To put it plain simple: If you have Germany already grinded, France.
If you don’t have Germany, get Sweden.
Until they add the detailed modules, they are indeed solid.

I have no idea about ground but I have a lot of fun with French jets that’s for sure. I’m also grinding Swedish planes but I haven’t reached jets yet, the props are kind of an obstacle since many are overtiered
France has a very, very fun 7.7 ground line up.
And the AMX M4.
But for the higher tier Sweden might be the best for ground.
Air: Rafale is terrifying to face, but the french air TT is… umm… shit
