What should i buy on gaijin market?

I have $63 from selling coupons from SL Crates. What is like a really cool tank either within the $30-$100 price range would be willing to add $40 to the 63 if there is a cool tank at 100 ish. I also hope this is the right place to ask. don’t see a general discussion topic

I would wait until the sales, they happen regularly and might mean that you will be able to get two or even three vehicles from the Gaijin store depending on what you choose (i think there usually are sales around november due to War Thunder anniversary but i’m a bit unsure). The sales do not affect the marketplace though.

In my eyes you have two options: either buy a vehicle for a tree you have not already unlocked and use it for grinding or you buy a vehicle for a tree that you already play a lot, something to complement a lineup you like to play. It depends a bit on what you want to use the vehicle for and what your goal with the vehicle is :)

Any recommendation also depends on your goal as many event vehicles do not count as premium and can’t be used effectively for “grinding” in that sense as they still suffer from the research penalty for researching vehicles of lower ranks, something premium vehicles don’t have to worry about (you can see the difference between premium and normal event vehicles in the tech trees in-game, premiums have a gold/bronze background and normal ones have a blue background).

That is sooo subjective and depends a lot on your playstyle, what vehicles you usually like to play and are effective with, as well as where you are research-wise in which country.

If you want value for money then do what Necronomica suggests, wait for sale and get regular premium vehicles.

However, if you insist on a marketplace GJN coin vehicle, I will recommend the Centurion Mk2 in a heartbeat. It is a rank IV premium at 6.7 BR with a stabilized 17-pounder.

The lowest sell offer is currently 180 GJN, and buy offers are at about 80 GJN. Maybe a little much for a rank IV, but it’s a premium and really good IMO but in the end it’s up to you.

You do realize that GJN from the market CAN be spend in the store for premium packs and golden eagles?

There are a lot of gems in the market and I can say some: BMD-4, C2A1, TCM AGS (not inside your budget) and TH800 Class 3(P) are vehicles I’d buy, all of them are distinct so they need different approach:

  • BMD-4 are a kind of enlarged rat vehicle, extremely fast platform with decent firepower, the higher acceleration it’s a key factor to take advantage position, specially in larger maps.

  • C2A1 is the typical vehicle of the guy that changes the match: you mix the firepower of the Leopard with enhanced additional armor screens, may save you from infantry fighting vehicle’s autocannons trading a bit of the mobility for more armor.

  • TCM AGS is a decent sniper that require some armor knowledge, keeping at distance or in positions that doesn’t require exposing the hull is the best tactic for using this vehicle. Although is (currently) GJN$135, it’s a vehicle I’d consider to buy at some point.

  • TH800 Class 3(P) is a tricky vehicle to play, it does share decent mobility with good firepower, doesn’t have the best of protection but the larger silhouette may be the key factor that makes this vehicle’s survivability sky rocket, it’s relatively empty inside so ammunition may cause lower damage to the vehicle.

I’m considering you have some knowledge for these vehicles, how to play with them or at least a line-up. If you don’t, consider T-34E or KV-IB in ground, TIS MA or F7F-3 as air support vehicles if you prefer lower battle rating.

I’d like to also mention the Sd.Kfz.234/4: Great tank destroyer with light vehicle perks (scouting). very fast, very powerful gun.
