Completely unrelated note, I always checked for the main nation of the people that send me spicy fanmail for my Merkava adventures, and the results have so far been unpredictible only once.
I doubt the US would be competitive anymore if Gaijin either: fixed the flight models of the R-77 (supersonic drag) and Su-27/MiG-29/Su-34 (general flight performance), or added functioning PESA/AESA radars to every nation besides the US. There are still levels of technical improvement to be had before any nation could be fine for a while (well besides Russian SPAA and CAS).

My opinion, F-22A Early it’s pure air superiority fighter and Air-to-Air Missile already in war thunder (AIM-9M & AIM-120C-5) but zero Air-to-Ground armament

i mean the f18 can go into many nations aside USA and idk why gaijin hasnt add them yet, they are very late on the f18 despite it being a really popular jet. F18 should have been added a while ago instead of the F4 ICE so Germany can have a propper top tier jet cuz F4 ICE is ass.
Wouldn’t the f-16 Block 60 (f16E/F) most likely be next? At least for the f16 line.

Tornado and Phantoms and Harriers would have still been balanced vs Gen 4 aircraft with greater performance.
Not doing this made the Tornado F.3 Late and the F-4F KWS dead on arrival
And the Israeli’s got the F-15I, which similarly is a direct upgrade for Air battles

No they arent, the F-15E and L and even the C MSIP II are equal to a Tranche 1 Typhoon and superior to a Rafale.
I’m mean I’m pretty sure we still have the f18 hornet, and super hornet. As well as the growler, before we start getting into stealth fighters. Let’s start looking at getting EW suites worked out and other gen 4 fighters.

A slightly better IR missile, is that it? Let me remind you that the japanese F-15 has literally no CAS capability. Heck, the japs only have the fake F-16 for CAS, which I straight up refuse to use.

I’m pretty sure the f15e you’re talking about first isnt close to an ex, because the EX is an eagle 2. RMP was a radar modernization of a legacy E. Ex is an improvement of the Qatari version which is now the baseline build.

F-15E RMP would just be a way to label it instead of “late”. The most visible upgrade is the AESA, but would include a better TGP, better weapons that are currently being held back, EPAWSS, etc.
