I am close to finishing GB rank 4 for air, what jet should i grind first? I am currently grinding Eft line, F-18F and Tornado F-3 line. I want something that is good for dogfighting
Also after rank 5, what should be my first rank 6 jet?
the 12.3 hornet is great but the rest are pretty bad in their current state

Lightning F.6 for strictly ARB so grind to it.

Rank V is a bracket ive largely skipped and dont play because of the compression.
Sea Meteor is apparently quite good iirc and the Canberra Mk6 can be a laugh as it gets a gunpod and handles rather well for something so large.
Rank 6 though I do play more of, so i’ll give you a quick review of those that ive properly played:
Hunter F1 - Fine gunfighter, struggles in uptiers though. Requires good energy management to do well.
Hunter F6 - Good fun these days with the SRAAM buffs. They can be a tad buggy though. Overall, okay aircraft, does struggle a little in the uptiers. Run a few RP-3s to use as flares.
Javelin - Over BRed, very difficult aircraft, totally DOA in anything but a downtier. Weak in a dogfight, not fast enough to properly BnZ. Only redeaming quality is the 4x Firestreaks which are okay given its 8.3, but dont expect loads from them.
Lightning F6 - Very good for BnZ and bomber hunting. Dont get dragged into a turn a fight and you’ll be okay. 30mm ADENs on it though are a pain to aim. Red Tops are solid missiles if you give them clean targets.
Scimitar - One aircraft ive not actually played much of, very quick though.
Jaguar GR1 - Surprisingly fun, 2x 9Gs on a high subsonic aircraft at this BR is quite effective and you can usually get 1x base kill too. Just be careful in an uptier. (22 mins of fuel seems to work quite well for it)
Harrier GR3 - Good 9.7. 2x 9Gs, 60 CMs, good acceleration, just watch out for the usual Harrier curses like the super nova heat sig.
Buc S2 - Fun base bomber, but that is all it can do. Its fast, has a very good CM load and a lot of bombs. But the only thing you can do is run away from people. But without bombs, you will outclimb anything subsonic except maybe a harrier.

Darter missiles absolutely suck and ruins the plane for me as you have hardly any missile range at all
