What nation is next for Naval?

Self explanatory title, out of the three nations without naval, which one do you think is in line to receive it next?

  • Sweden
  • China
  • Israel

I want it to be Sweden but id say China is the most likely to come next, i do wonder how it would turn out though.

Sweden can get a rather good coastal TT and with sub-TTs and getting creative, a passable bluewater TT.

China… I dont think they can muster a bluewater TT that is worth the effort, but could get a coastal TT. But they might focus them as they seem to be pandering to China a lot recently

It would certainly be interesting to see the Swedish coastal Battleships.

Personally I hope we get the Swedish navy as it is good on coastal and ok in Bluewater. Finland could also offer some extra frigates, coastal defence ships and torpedo boats.

If Norway is confirmed to be a Swedish subtree (I can’t remember if it was announced with the mosquitos) then you could expand the naval options drastically.

Without missile ships, China could still offer a decent coastal tree but would have a lackluster bluewater.

Israel could have a neat coastal but would either need to slot it’s destroyers at the top of the coastal tree or need a subtree with a substantial navy like Chile.

The Navy is basically not played by anyone. It doesn’t matter whether it comes out or not.

Thats just meme sir…

azerbaijan

If Azerbaijan does end up as an Israeli subtree, I could see Gusar as a neat option (iirc didn’t get modernised by Turkey?). I’m not too knowledgeable on the the Azerbaijan navy so I don’t know what else could be added that would be unique.

honestly i was just joking but yea some nations have some fire navals , albanian coast guard has a an ilyria class vessel which in itself has a 23mm cannon which would be nice to see on the coastal fleet

Sweden honestly has everything you’d want for a naval tree. They built a surprising number of destroyers boasting 120mm from normal guns to Automatic Naval-cannons with a fast fire-rate, a whole bunch of torpedo boats and assault craft, and later some really really advanced corvettes.

On top of that you’ve got their small but mighty coastal battleships like the Sverige class perfect for shallow waters instead of open-ocean duels.

And then there’s the Strb 90… a lightning-fast assault boat armed with multiple 12.7mm HMGs some even have Miniguns, that would be absolute chaos in coastal battles. Sweden’s mix of quirky mini-battleships, swarms of 40mm L/70 and 57mm L/70 armed boats, and modern fast-attack craft makes them feel like the most natural next nation for naval.

Main drawback is a lack of cruisers and ships capable for proper open-water combat, as the Swedish-mini battleships or Coastal Defence Barges are quite slow and can take less punichment than other bigger classes in the game

And to add to it-

If submarines ever got added sweden has a big arsenal of them boasting some real technological marvels for their time, and capabilities.

It’s all just Soviet stuff which would go to the Soviets lol

actually the ilyria class is based off a dutch ship

Then give it to France.

I wanted to ask, would you happen to know what Finland could offer in naval? I’m aware of it’s coastal defence ships and I heard it has some torpedo boats but outside of that I’m clueless.

i think italy would be a much better choice , historically albanian navy and army has used italian vehicles expect the communist dictatorship ofc

Albania could also get the P421 which was a Chinese gunboat modified to carry the torpedo tubes of the type 25 and 26 torpedo boats.

I love looking into small navies and finding unique modifications or classes.
