You should have a very interesting option “i don’t main” .
I understand new players “maining” a nation… because grinding one tree at a time.
Most players though should have multiple vehicles from many trees.

Trying to play everything as long as every spaded vehicle gives me happiness.
But focusing on British, a lot much heavier than others.

honestly played for Germany, Russia and Israel. and on the whole the whole game is one big carousel so everyone plays their own thing and a normal person only needs to play one tree. because the maps are constantly repeating on some you can’t even play properly and the research of crews and tanks is very lengthy

I’ve played ~2 hours a day for 5 years. 10 tech trees completed for air.
6 completed for ground, 4 at or above 8.0.
A number of helicopter trees completed, a number of naval trees to 5.7.
Even then I’ve spent many days not playing this last year and still have progressed.
To answer the OP’s question: All tech trees. Soviets I was forced to play due to matchmaker limitations back in 2020.

Don’t focus on leveling up a specific nation I’m a collector and research what I like, and I don’t really care where that vehicle comes from. If I like the T-64, Leopard 2, Challenger 2, or F-15 and F-16, I don’t have to love the nations they belong to in order to grind them.
Although, I’m not a fan of cloning unique vehicles from one tech tree to another (like with the F/A-18—I’d prefer it to remain a US tech tree exclusive…)

Going by vehicle amount, Britain. I have almost completely ground out the ground TT besides the last couple AAs.
Least played would probably Japan and Israel.
Sweden. I used to play all nations but I started feeling like I wasn’t progressing at all so I switched to playing mostly just one.

Its boring to main one nation. Just play everything gajin gives you. I hate high tier prem because of that. You don’t have as much options ad with playing multiple things alrhough id recommoned cmgrinding one nation befor starting another especialy when you are a newcomer

There is so much to enjoy in this game, and playing multiple nations is the best way to experience that. China is a nation i wouldnt have given much thought to but they offer some very cool stuff towards the end of the tree.
I do hope they fix the harriers IR signature so i can play them more!

USA is cool and all, invisible IR missiles and a bomb/missile truck and just recently the iconic Hornet. It’s okay, nothing crazy. Gives a very “fly straight ??? profit” mindset which can be bad because from the POV of everyone else who play other nations you get the “lol you suck” or the more iconic “[insert statement] US mains bro”.
Russia/USSR was my actual first nation I grinded to completion, followed by USA. I’m an aviation geek first and foremost and I absolutely adore the look of the MiG-29. An affordable and somewhat flexible option of a fighter jet? Yes, please! Of course, my new love is the Su-35 but that won’t be in this game for a while so for now I shall side eye its younger cousin the Su-30SM.
Sweden is a country I just looked at and thought “Draken?”. It’s one of those tech trees that has it’s own niche and/or playstyle that you just sort of adjust to over time. Low/mid tiers are ehh, Draken and up is where your experience will either be pain or absolute joy. For now it remains competitive because Gripen A/C but I hold out hope for the Gripen E’s introduction.
France 😂 Funny story but france was actually a nation I was sort of coerced into grinding/playing. I always thought their planes were a little too simplistic looking (“bro it’s just a dorito what’s so special about that?” the illinformed version of me said, right before i ate a Magic 2) and lacked any media representation like the F-16/15 or MiG-29s. Safe to say I was wrong and now I enjoy surprising people with the MICA
You mostly play one nation because you are cringe, I mostly play one nation because it feels weird for me to play other nations. We are not the same.
