Hey so about that… if you have an Xbox…
Not sure what a premnium is, but a PREMIUM is a vehicle you spend $80 on, just to get smoked by a v*rgin that has analysed every single pixel in the game and will snipe you from spawn the second you load in.
For one its Premium*
And two one is 80 dollars with Research and SL boost
And non-premiums are not $80 and don’t have a Research and SL boost
Squadrons are vehicles that you either spend $50 on, and have to actually grind it out (or pay to spade), but you cannot get RP for anything below the 100% RP range (Rank 8 Squadron cannot research Rank 6 and below).
Well said, boyo
For me, I think premium vehicles that are added, should have a relative tech tree counterpart as well. For example, the brumbar in the German tech tree is one of my favorite premiums to play, but it’s only premium. However, there are a couple of other variations that could be added. One has a machine gun on it, which could easily be the tech tree counterpart.
Depends, they can be experimental, captured, ace/ hero unit or just straight copy paste and occasionaly mainline equipment that probably should be in the TT. Ultimately I think it’s just a matter of what Gaijin thinks will sell well, and if they can copy paste one version into multiple nations, all the better as they can sell the same 3D model more times with no extra cost (which makes sense from a business perspective, but isn’t great for making the TTs unique).
how many people would be pleased to buy it. Thats closely it. Either that or “C&P something fast so we can sell it to make grinders grind”-ish behaviour. They dont seem to follow the pattern here.
squadrons are 1) stock, 2) RP & Sl % are the same like TT, 3) you cant grind from low to top
also there are basically no special rules. Devs decide something and make it.
this is the problem that warthunder has. New Players doeesnt want to be pacient and lern how to Aim, dogfight, drive etc…, they just buy straight a 80 $ vehilce and bomb there way up to toptier, only knowing how to bomb! In my opinion, new Players should be forbidden to buy any prmnium that is higher then their current rank. in this way, New Players lerns, step by step how to play the game, and in the end, they become a avarage player
that makes premium vehicles useless so that winn never happen. Thats basicaly against gameplay whatsoever.
nonono, Players like you and me, who have at least any kind of TT done, can buy for other nations toptiers premnium, as they know what they are doing. this is only for newbies. This mechanic prevents newbies to waste their money on something difficult to learn and use. ( egs: F/A-18C, need to know radars and notching and multipathing— uptiers to ARH missels, players doent know how to kill, goes to basebombing, in the end knwo how to bomb.)
that’s been a long held opinion by a lot of players, that you should have at least 1 nation to the Rank of the premiums you want to buy, but aside from the obvious issue that it would hurt sales so Gaijin is unlikely to do it regardless, there are other issues like people simply having zero interest in WW2 ranks.
One thing that would help is if Gaijin actually made better tutorials, the current ones are lacking even for reserve ranks, let alone for tiers where you will see max BR.
I agree. The reason I started to play this game is about the sherman.
Thats why gajin introduced the Three packs pack. Very good and beginner freindly for newbies, (i dont like the german one, they should have given them a medium tank instead of 2 heavies)
Just for the Info, we should talk what makes a vehilce special to be added as a premnium!!!
I mean, its not about me or you as to have the path to premiums. I ment that the core part of being a high tier premium in this game is to have the ablity to never touch tech tree machines to get to the top tier. So basically that is against a gameplay features of those machines. I do believe me and you would benifit from that on some point, but loose benefir on another as there will be less easy kills around top tier. But neither gaijin nor new players would benefit from such
yeah, becouse gajin makes comercial showing off the cool jets and tanks, and when new players see the grind, from prww2 to modern, thy dont want to wait a year of learining to get that shiny F16 and F18. That the problem
and its basically impossible to beat. Purpose of premiums is to skip the grind, thus the newbies will buy them. Making newbies forbidden to buy them breaks the purpose of them.
