The 3BM42 is an APFSDS that you get for free in the T-72B3A
(and the earlier variant however that’s at a lower br so kind of irrelevant here)
not the worst when just talking numbers
However when I shoot this thing it either NEVER deals damage with its spall or just bounces randomly, it hates being usefull
This is one of the many instances of the silly round doing silly things
The round is isn’t the best it gets cause then I’d probably get more hostile in this thread
but my question to ya’ll is why does this happen so often to this or just some specific shells?
Anyway just felt the need to point this out, yuh
3BM42 is perfectly fine round my man. Sure it might be lacking as top tier stock round but 3BM42 beats stock HEAT-FS

- Momentarily poor aim
1st shot you aimed at the fuel tank area → hit the fuel → reduce pen → then it hit tank wall at a critical angle, ricochet and gaijined
2nd shot you also unsuccesfully and unluckily pixel hunt the front + turret ring so it ricochet for like a split second = 0 dmg

Shippers are you doubly sure you’re actually using mango - coming from the Bhishma, Mango is pretty mega. You hit, you’ll ruin someone’s day if you don’t straight kill them, provided you pen.
Looks like with that clip you got mega unlucky and got Gaijin’d.
i think this guy would actually die if he had to use L23a1
1st shot breech
2nd shot ricochets off the internal fuel bulkhead
3rd shot; that flat panel underneath the M1s gun mantlet is really inconsistent at spalling
verdict: gaijin’d
He’s using the T-72B3A, that’s honestly bad enough
