What is your opinion about the Ju-87 G-2?

I’m a beginner simulator player, and I played with the Ju-87 G-2 until it was completely upgraded.
When I’ve managed to research the 37mm ammo belt, I thought the plane will be more powerful, but it was still a disappointment.
I couldn’t destroy a single tank with it. It didn’t matter if it was a T-26, M22, Pz III, or M5A1, the maximum damage that I could do is a yellow level - which is the lowest in game. Furthermore, the 37 mm HVAP-T ammo with 94mms pen at 200m - according to ingame data - did “non-penetration” damage sometimes on the mentioned tanks above.
These situations are unacceptable for me, because If I do the maths, none of those tanks would have an angled, effective armor thickness, that would be more than 94mms, to resist the shot.
So, in short, I think the Stuka G-2 with HVAP-T should do more damage on those tanks, and should penetrate them more effectively. In addition, the Stuka G-2 destroyed T-34s aswell.

I would like to know what is your opinion. If you play another game mode than sim, it is not a problem.

the HVAP-T shell is an APCR shell

APCR requires your target to be Perfectly square on impact and has Notoriously bad damage (even tho it shouldn’t), it’s also the only shell that gets Shell shatters all the time

that unfortunately makes this Belt completely useless against tanks until APCR is fixed in the whole game

until then I suggest you try other belts because full calibre AP fired from an Aircraft has higher penetration than the table tells you, because you’re already moving and the Velocity is higher

lol, bro actually trusted the stat card. HVAP-T is pretty much a mini APCR, which is only good against flat armour. In a plane, it’s pretty much useless as u are always diving from an angle. Use AP over HVAP even if it has less pen

HVAP IS APCR, its just a different name, US and UK.
The Bk 3,7 IRL also had access to the Pzgr.18 aphe, at 700g and 790m/s, which would be really good.
It also had the M-Pzgr. Developed which was a 710g 784m/s High capacity APHE round with 90g HTA. Against light ground targets and lokomotives, with devistating effect.
In game it has neither.

If you read my comment further, you can read: HVAP-T ammo with 94mm pens at 200m.
I got the data from the armor analyzer. It’s not my responsibility, if the game’s data is still unreliable, and cannot be checked.

In this short video below, you can check that the Ju-87 G how destroyed tanks. They were literally blown up.
Every time, the Ju-87 attacked at an angle, different from 90 degrees, and after all, the Stuka was succesful. I dare to bet that the Stuka didn’t use HE shells, but my other hint is the ammunition was the APCR round with tungsten core.

I think thats some self cut or propaganda footage, because the shooting cam of hitting and showing the Ju 87 are unrelated. The shootings show just a central gun shooting and the other shows many tracers of other guns, while the Ju 87 G series with some very few field mod exceptions didnt have other offencive armarment.
