What is this thing mounted on the F-5 pylon?

Good afternoon, in a couple of photos of the Chilean F-5 Tiger III you can see a strange device whose purpose I don’t know, I’m assuming it’s a LITE Pod with laser head and infrared and TV navigation that is mentioned in some books and magazines that the Chilean F-5s integrated in their modernization, since I haven’t seen images of that pod I’m assuming it must be this one, but as I say I’m not sure, if anyone knows what it is or has more information I would really appreciate it.

I’m not sure it’s a T3 upgrade, as this picture you posted of a T2 in your Chilean AF TT suggestion has it sat in front.

I’m doing some digging, but I suspect its an ECM pod of some sort.
