Oh, is that for if you felt like manually refilling your ammo and repairing after matches then? I don’t know why anyone would bother. Thanks for the info.
Each tank has a certain amount of ammo in the hangar, and when u fire it in a match it takes it from ur 135 pieces. It’s by default replenished at the end of a game and deducts a bit of SL from ur bank
As others have mentions it’s you maximum ammo stockpile of that type (default ammo types are unlimited) What hasn’t been mentioned is that if you manage to use all of that reserve you cannot restock anymore of that ammo type until you leave the match and buy more, it’s rarely an issue but high ROF tanks can do it if they spam too much in long matches, I’ve seen 2S38s run out of APFSDS in the Assault mode quite a few times.

It shows how much ammo you bought. If you turn off the “buy automatically” option in the hangar, every type of ammunition except basic will end after some battles.
