i asked myself, what happend to some of the SKINs ? u can see there are differents… skin is the same
all settings are the same… but look at the pics… can someone tell me whats going on ?!

I thought it was a setting to show wear and tear, but only available if you had premium time. Its been a while since I have seen the topic.
As I already wrote, all settings are the same. Even the wear is the same… at 100

oh, ok. i searched and didn´t find something… ok i will search again… But it looks to me like an update is to blame. I made some nice skins that aren’t nice anymore ;-) Too bad
I recently made my own custom skin and have seen no change. I think maybe its effected skins from before the update?

Are you using live custom skins or skins from boxes?
there are also some changes on the T-80´s mud flaps as you can see… now i can´t overwrite the flaps… before you can write numbers etc on it. now u can´t.

I will have to test it out later and see if new skins are effected. I have a feeling maybe it was the pre existing skins before the update that were effected.
The stupid thing about it is… changing all my skins as well as the skins of other artists now… ouch… a lot of work
it’s annoying, but I learned to just keep copies. Like custom key binds. Sometimes they would reset and I would have to start over. I keep extra copies of custom skins or templates just in case.
I wonder though, if you remove the current skin and bring it back, maybe as a copy would it be brand new again? I know you can change skin in near real time. I usually do it to make changes almost in real time in the hanger by refreshing the file within the in games custom skin folder.
I think it would be unlikely to add a fresh skin and it be weathered already.
No, I don’t think you can make a “brand new” setting like back then… the tank looked pretty fresh at 100… not anymore
