While i do not like copy paste vehicles, the B17G intrigues me greatly. If they were indeed “Captured” then i do wish to see them in game even in a combat role they never served in since the history tied to them is interesting.
The BJ is also interesting and as it should qualify as a possible addition per the rules, I’ve supported its addition for years now.
As for the Churchill Mk.III, Panther and Firefly, ill personally pass on them. Sweden does deserve a tech tree heavy though, honestly i expected the Finnish kv-1 would be just that but i guess Gaijin had other plans.
We got the Pz.271-1. I suppose Gaijin doesn’t want a market premium to be available in the form of tech tree premium or regular tech tree, so that is why the Pz.272 wasn’t added to the Swedish tree.
But i feel that this is just plain weird, Since the Merkava Mk.1, Mk.2 and Mk.3 in the US tree were added to the Israeli tree.
Yhe merkavas arw different though, the Mk.1A (US) lacks smoke lauchers on the turret, LWS, thermals, better round than M111. Compared to the MK.1B Isreal gets same goes for all threee US merkava, even the Raam Segol is a different model of the MK.3D, they didn’t add the Merkava to Isreal, they added different models
You instead should argue for the actual Finnish KV-1B as the version in game is pre Finnish modifications such as additional boxes mounted for the crew, handles to the top turret, 15mm turret ring armor, and the Finnish druve light cover, Ect ect we only see these modifications on the KV-1B after its gone through the proving grounds. So my suggestion before i stopped writing it was to add the Late KV-1B to Finland and rename the one on Germany to Early
As far as what i know from talking to Smin it counts, besides finland lacks a 4.7 lineup and the KV-1B is a better option to add since its not adding some trial tank to fill a gap. I mean im sure German players are gonna whine either way because they lose a panther of the KV-1 but at least the KV-1 makes sense over the panther. The Kungtiger never should have been added imo but i figure it was recompense for the KV-1B never going to sweden.
5.7 sweden definitely lacks some armored tanks so who knows what they’ll add, ush need to go to 5.0 so it can have a more versatile lineup and Sweden overall needs spaa thats not just TD’s in disguise
Ngl, having played Swedish 8.0/8.3 I realised how dogshit of SPAA VEAK 40 is. I mean, it does get (wacky) radar, punchy AP rounds and bearable chasis but SPAAs’ job is to fight air targets first, then everything else.
ItPsV 90 (aka Finnish T-55 Marksman) was redundant as ItPsV Leopard was better in terms of mobility and protection being at the same Gepard and alikes BR (8.3), but ItPsV Leo was moved up to 8.7, leaving my early Swedish cheese wedge, Raketenautomat U-SH, VIDAR and Saab-105G to the mercy of American/Soviet CAS.
So I think T-55 Marksman is not just an option but a necessity, as you have to either uptier yourself to constantly fight stabilised T-55s, MBT-70s, T-72s and derivatives with APFSDS, or suffer from skill issue using 850m/s HE shell and radar leading somewhere at enemy.
Sadly, I haven’t found any suggestions covering such vehicle. Idk, was it passed for consideration on the old forum or it was just overlooked and forgotten?
Spoiler
This at 8.3 or even at 8.0 without APDS just anything with good RoF and muzzle velocity.
The Leo Marksman is the best IFV on sweden until 9.7 the 9030 could go to 8.0 and the Marksman to 10.7 and id still take the Marksman.
The Veak is a worthless SPAA which is better suited for a mid tier IFV at a worse BR than my R3 lol. Te Leo Marksman is still on my 10.7 and 10.3 lineup because its so versatile.
Please ignore the video i was watching when i recorded it.
Regardless the Leo has i think 35hp/t which lets you get to some very good spots early game VS the CV90’s which unless you have the 9035 or the MK.IV you aren’t getting into a good position early game.
If you really want to add captured vehicles to the Swedish TT, why not the Do-24. I know they were unarmed in Swedish service but when they arrived in Sweden they did have their defensive armaments
Decided to play around 10.3 with a friend and instead of grinding Japan for my Tan Sam wanted to play the 9040’s see i love the gun but the armor weighs it down so much. Id love to see the LVKV 9040B in game honestly even if it is just the like 9040B with the radar we need more mobile CV’s
I forgot how sluggish the heavier models are since im so used to the 9035 and the MK.IV

Speed isn’t the main design priority of the CV90. It’s designed for carrying and supporting Infantry (Infantry support) and anti-ground basically like every other IFV.
Though Sweden could get a speedy IFV or APC in the form of the Partia APC’s/IFV’s that both Finland and Sweden operated
