I have been playing for over a year. I’ve played all of the arcades. My biggest problem is I’m getting killed by people I can’t see. I can see their player icon but that’s it. I shoot at them first mostly miss then they kill me. I don’t shoot first they still kill me. How are they seeing me but I can’t see them?
Cover probably. They are hiding behind something and only exposing the turret or little else…while you are fully exposed.
Usually you can see this on the shot replay…enemy is behind wall, boulder or hill…
In these conditions you can see the icon, but you have to aim at the exposed part…
Some players are very good at this…if you want, you can see the match replay and look at it from the enemy perspective…and see what he did…
EDIT:BTW…i know this because i also die to this…i try to do it also, but not so effective…
It could be down to your graphics settings possibly? Air/naval player here.
Heard most set theres to bear minimum and this allows draw distance on ground vegitation to disappear as cover at closer distances.

Do you have your “Keen Vision” crew skills maxed out yet?
For most of my tank crews yes and they have at least expert crews. The two things that are really bugging me is I could be in some brush or something and can’t see anything in front of me but the icon of the enemy and yet I get kill shot every time. If I’m behind this brush and I can’t see you how can you aim your gun and manage to kill shot me if you can’t see me? The second thing there could be a guy in the middle of a field at the corner of the map killing people on the other side of the map how can he even see that far to get a kill shot in from that distance? I can understand maybe hitting something from that far but kill shots every shot from that far shouldn’t be possible. Almost forgot how is it possible in arcade to be in the spot to ambush people without anybody knowing you’re there but every time I try doing it the person rolls around the corner and shoots me like he knew I was there the whole time?
Because people can see you still… usually you dont think they can, oh but they can. MG on the roof, an antenna, exhaust… all give you away
Map awareness and knowledge… Play a map enough, you know the routes people take, spots to sit and the distances to make those shots.
Because you are probably spotted on the map… or they are watching you from around cover come towards them… again, comes down to awareness, knowledge, and experience.
If i understood correctly…you are playing arcade…
SO…even if you are in a bush you will have a icon locating you to the enemy…if under 1km, the enemy can use is sight to aim, locate and hit you.
Even in the over 1km shots you mention, it is possible to read the RANGE in the icon and shoot using that number. Usually means adding 50m or 100m to the aiming distance. I do it on occasion and believe better players can do it often…although i would also be wary of anyone doing it all the time…
