What exactly should the F-4E's formal designation be referred to as?

to the knowledge that i have,
RWR and flight model are late-production variants, while the weapons systems used are from an earlier generation (know that late-production uses the AIM-7F/M, AIM-9M, various types of guided bombs and pod, but now only uses AIM-7E2 ,aim-9J and GBU-8).

If we specify the model type clearly, what should we call it?

Is it difficult to distinguish because its model is mixed?

wrote this because I think it would be quite interesting to split the F-4E into early and late variants and organize them into folders.

Yeah, so that’s just a Gaijin-ism. Same thing with the F-15A being a mishmash of pre-ANG MSIP II, and post-ANG MSIP II (CMs and 9Ms, but no MSIP cockpit, AMRAAMs, GBU-8s, and pre-1980s turkey feathers)

That’d be the ALR-46, right?

It’s been improved in various aspects, but the lack of radar-related content is both sad and funny. :>>>>
