I keep seeing little popups in game asking about re-writing history in “dynamic campaign” and when I look on google I find old posts from a year+ ago about them, but what are they, why aren’t they in the general mission select, and where can I find them?
At this point it’s nothing,
It was some sort of Rewrite the history game mode as they announce on one of the tip dialogues during a loading screen but never was properly worked on,
Just fight some planes and win money, nothing but that: no progression, no nothing, and guess what? To really unlock certain missions you need certain planes.
And Gaijin just put the last nail in the coffin by removing historical battles from the Shop, by today there’s no more update on this mode.
Its the single player missions. They are from the old “Birds of Steel” game that was WT’s original game.
How you win/lose scenarios determines which unlock next. Some are good. Many of them are no longer winnable because they aren’t maintained.
I save them to play for when the server hamsters have pooped themselves.
They are what I imagined war thunder to be when I joined but PVP
