If they added datalink kill assist rewards, the teamwork potential would be unheard of, having some guy sitting in the back as datalink as a pseudo AWACS… One can only dream

That would not fix anything would it? What if some other nation faces the same problem that US is facing now in future?

unpopular opinion : US mains should learn how to use their own aircrafts and weapons.

when i see Long-range BVR aircraft designs being used at “knifefights” it makes me sad (and terribly happy when i’m playing anything else)

so → US mains problems, comes from US mains issues (for most) and not weaponnary.
yet, i agree that AIM-120C should be buffed, it’s actually a pale shadow.

Gaijin went all over the place to add spawns instead of giving true maps and whole Information systems.

and that’s the reason why the game is harsh for Long-range BVR designs such as US ones.

Well, it IS a solution… because if people start not playing the TT and has the fame of a bad TT , they’ll stop selling premiums IN A MAIN NATION.
And that will hurt enough to make them fix some things.
But it won’t happen…anyway.

I would agree on that. Most US main don’t know how to use their own vehicle. A pretty good example is the abram.

any Jet aircraft from 10.7 to 14.3,… (and even less for premium ones)

Lets say you are in an F-15C (i can only say about F-15C as i still don’t have F-15E) . A plane that is supposed to BVR like most US planes are designed to do. You start to climb but oh no! there is already and F-15E or a Eurofighter flying faster and ahead of you hence their missile will also reach the enemy before you can you do BVR. The enemy also launches at you and you need to notch. Oh no while you notch you almost all your speed and take foreverrr to regain that speed.

I agree with you that it is very sad to see people doing dog fight in an F-15 but what is an F-15C player suppose to do in up tier. In down tier it is a monster but in up tier i would still prefer F-16C even in bvr over F-15C as it accelerates faster and has good energy retention which would make F-16C reach higher speed quickly and gain lost speed quickly after notching. Sure F-16C won’t reach mach-2 after a long time but those two factor IMO makes me ignore the bad fact about F-16C which is carrying less missile and its top speed (Also i have bias toward F-16C)

Nope, only these planes in US inventory have MAWS:
F-22
F-35
A-10C
AC-130
MC-130 / HC-130
C-17
Some C-130J received it in A-stan.

Why do mostly the big planes have MAWS you might ask? Because they’re extremely vulnerable during take-off/landing. MAWS was added to give them an additional layer of protection in case enemy manpads could sneak near an airbase in expeditionary operations. Good example would be COB Speicher near Tikrit, or Bagram.

that proves my point,… no one ever thought that Side climbing would be useful for downtier aircrafts, because they’re playing like the mob does - straightforward towards the fight.

Since Airspawn have been introduced, less and less players use their brains to wait out of range or sneak around ennemies,… the whole game is about rushing toward each others missiles and gun blazing, because no one know how to do differently.

Yes the map design is one of the reasons, but player mentality is so far out of what an actual air/navy pilot would do, that map design is like 20% of the gameplay flaws.

How is it US mains fault that they’re forced to play with some of the worst top-tier planes? From strongest to weakest:
France(Rafale)-Russia(Su-30SM2)
UK-Italy(EF2000 AESA)
Germany(EF2000 AESA with slightly less radar FOV)
Japan(Su-30)
China, USA, Israel

You only played the Rafale at full top tier so that’s most likely why you can’t understand just how hard US players had it for literal months now. Like, the only thing the F-15C GE does better than the EF2000 AESA at the same BR is having 4 more AIM-120C and slightly more BOL flares, that’s literally it.

doesn’t help that your Russian counterpart if your playing an F-15C GE spawns in at mc1.2 while you start at mc 0.9 in a plane thats already slightly slower

Don’t worry, it’s just US mains fault if the Su-30SM2 is a better BVR platform, a better dogfighter, and has better missiles than the F-15C GE.

Side climb? I have tried that and you know what happened? Either my team was completely destroyed. My team destroyed them or one of the 14.3 aircraft is doing same thing and then i die. Is it my skill issue. Sure it might i never consider myself as a good

read again,… and i played several other aircrafts within those BR range,… i have no problem fighting rafale and EF-2000 in F-2A for exemple,…

the problem come from knowledge, mindset, strategy and tactics that are low to non-existent in 95% US mains gameplay.

because you’re alone doing that,… which coroborate my says:

I can fight these planes in the F-15E and maintain a positive K/D. That doesn’t mean the F-15E is better than them. Again, you’re blaming US mains for not being able to do good in the worst top-tier planes. Pretty classical of anti US tree players. I can assure you that if you switched the Rafale to the US tree, and replaced it with the F-15C GE in the French tree, you would suddenly see US players win a lot more.
