What can save American top tier air?

Haven’t been here in a while, did we figure out what can save America or is everyone’s final solution the F-22?

Americans are cucked until they get aim 9x or f-22 yeah

Even then they will find a way to die inferior planes somehow.

Can’t wait demolish F-22’s from 40Km with MICA-Ir tho Xd.

I mean to be fair mica ir is probably going to be the best ir missile in the entire game, nothing comes close to it in overall capability other than probably r-74m2. But even then mica ir ng version blows the r-74m2 out of the water anyways.

Only thing that comes close is the ASRAAM in terms of range and IRIS-T in terms agility but since MICA-IR has both abilities it will be hands down best IR missile in the game like you said.

Unless they do what I think they might, and limit it to LOBL. So HOBS is limited by gimball limit and range is limited by lock range. Then it actually loses quite a bit. Especially in HOBS with 60°gimball limit vs everyone elses 90°

Asraa, mica ir and r-74m2 both reach similar ranges and r-74m2 should have similar maneuvering capability to mica ir at 60gs, and at over 3km asraam will have best time to target.
Though America should also get asraam so they won’t get stuck with aim 9x

They shouldnt

I mean they were the first ones to trial/test it on many planes like f-16 and f-35 even though it didn’t enter service with them.
I would also assume they would be getting meteor as well as from what I can tell, they’re first integrating them on American f-35s as well

If British typhoon can get access to the IRIS-T I don’t see any reason why USA can’t get their hands on ASRAAM or other missiles, tho they really dont need it.

Yea all of them has similiar ranges except not sure about R-74 tho but with MICA-IR NG range differences will become even more noticeable.

And I am hoping they dont.

I actually would like some asymmetry between the Typhoons. ASRAAM vs IRIS-T would be a good one and I think having both would be a balancing nightmare.

So I dont see why the US should get ASRAAM and Aim-9X on multiple aircraft. Maybe an event F-16 or something, but unneeded on anything else

That’s where datalink comes in and with Rafale’s radar MICA will still be better than ASRAAM,especially in close range.

If its modeled or unrestricted like that, but if it gets DL, then everyone else should get IOG

To me they dont need it as Aim-9X is already capable platform for short and medium range.

USA’s main benefit will be stealth and flight performance with upcoming F-22 Raptor so naturally other nations can hold missile advantages in that case.

In that case MICA will become even stronger, remember in both scenario MICA-IR still has the upper hand.

Big ifs there, though rafale can just be a higher BR than everyone else if its so dominant

Nah it will be on par with EFT’s due to carrying less missiles with limited top speed and countermeasures tho if EW suites comes then situation will change once again.

Not necessarily when compared to AESA Typhoons.

In terms of EW suites Rafale still holds the edge I believe, tho I’m pretty sure EFT’s are right behind them with minimal differences.

Anyway these aspects are highly classified and we can only talk about theoretical things at this point.

One thing for sure demolishing Raptors in both Rafale and EFT’s with ASRAAM and MICA-IR will be so satisfying tho Su-57 concerns me little bit due to its LDIRCM.
